Meet the Founder, San Griffin.

San Griffin is a skilled professional in child development and family relations. She has worked with youth and their families for over 15 years. As the CEO of Aggrandize Your Life, LLC, she provides transformative tools and resources through her literature and workshops.

​

San earned a bachelor's degree in child development and family relations, and a master's degree in human development from North Carolina Central University in Durham, N.C. She lives in Durham with her husband, Milton, and their three sons.

 

For 13 years, San served the Raleigh-Durham area as the assistant director and director of Patricia Taborn Modeling Agency, Inc. (PTMA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit. She and her team created a safe environment for youth to explore diverse careers, attend character-building workshops, and participate in philanthropic events.

San believes everyone has a unique purpose and special qualities they can contribute to the world. She helps people find their zone of genius, nourish their brilliance, and maintain their light.

Introducing "Black Hair Love"...

San is also the founder of Black Hair Love, a series of poetry for all ages. In Black Hair Love, readers will enjoy a collection of poems, including freestyle, rhythmic, concrete, haiku, and an ode, all based on the author's experiences and transformative thoughts about her love for Black people's hair.

 

These powerful poems promote self-love and appreciation of Black culture, exploring the unique beauty it possesses. The poems feature wonderful imagery, memories of hair care routines, avant-garde flow, and messages of empowerment. Through Black Hair Love, readers will gain a new perspective on Black people's hair, celebrating its beauty and significance.
